Sziraki turned and attempted to pull over the Camry, which sped away.
Sziraki pursued the car for about four minutes, with the Camry reaching above 100 mph, running stop signs and red lights. The chase ended when the Camry crashed into an almond tree.
Adame was taken into custody, and the California Highway Patrol determined she was driving under the influence.
Adame was booked at the Merced County Jail on suspicion of DUI and felony evading a peace officer. She’s being held at the jail in lieu of $52,000 bail.
