KC police to conduct DUI checkpoint this weekend

Kansas City police have announced they will have a sobriety checkpoint this weekend.

Police did not release a time and location for the DUI checkpoint except to say it would be conducted sometime between Friday and Sunday at a location known for DUI-related crashes or arrests.

Police will place signs in advance of the checkpoint alerting motorists. Officers will direct drivers to an area where officers can determine whether to conduct sobriety tests.
