At about 11:15 a.m., fire and police units were dispatched to East Washington Street, where they found Clyde McGee intoxicated. Police initiated a DUI investigation at the scene.
Police said McGee suffered minor injuries. He was later arrested for DUI and released to the custody of medical staff at a local hospital.
One lane of East Washington Street was closed for about an hour while the crash was investigated and roadway cleared. Police said McGee did not have any prior DUI arrests. The vehicle he was driving was towed from the scene.
