A Reno man has been arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol– at 114 miles per hour– on Highway 395 Monday just after midnight.
The Nevada Highway Patrol arrested Sung Moon Min, 44, of Reno just south of the Neil Road interchange. A trooper said she witnessed Min speeding, pulled him over, and administered a sobriety test, which Min allegedly flunked. The trooper said Min displayed obvious signs of intoxication after he was stopped. Blood tests were taken at the Washoe County Jail which reportedly confirmed the trooper’s suspicions.
Min has a previous felony DUI conviction, according to the NHP. He was charged in connection with a fatal DUI crash in August, 2004, and was convicted in 2006.
